All things Medical

The esteemed doctor (Yes he calls himself Esteemed), has been researching the virus for several years now. His research has given results in the way of a genetically manipulated rDNA protein vaccin.
It renders people almost immune to the virus.
One side effect of the virus is that those inoculated with the vaccin gain the benefit of regenerative tissue. This means that wounds inflicted by for example violence or in accidents heal slowly. Even those that are shot dead will eventually rise again. However, if you are dead, it will take an hour before you get back up, and even then, you will be weak and feeble for another hour until fully healed.
However, even if the new vaccine has regenerative powers, you can die.
Being blown up by a bomb, grenade or something like that will kill you. Also if someone decides to use a heavy caliber and shoots your head off or decapitates your head with a sword. You will die.
However regenerative or not, you can and will get hurt.
The following rules apply when it comes to getting shot, stabbed, chopped, grilled or beaten.
Hitzones
This is where you get shot.

For example:
Arm / Leg: If you get shot in an arm or leg, play it out. This means for example that you will use just one arm to wave your gun around, or use a crutch to move around when shot in the leg or foot.
When shot in the abdomen or chest, you go down on the ground, unless you have an armor plate. If you have an armor plate, then you just get the wind knocked out of ya.
Shot in the head means you're dead and will resurrect after an hour., unless you had a helmet on. Be sure to play it out, just for fun for everyone.
Healing
As said before, you have somewhat regenerative powers. This can be speeded up. With a Stimpack you can get help and get back on ya feet. This applies if you get shot in the chest or abdomen.
When it comes to arm / leg, a first aid needs to be applied by yourself or a dedicated medic.
If you bandage an arm, you can use it as normal. If you bandage a leg, you can walk slowly, but not run.
You can heal with a stimpack or first aid kit once. If you then get shot in the same leg or arm, that limb becomes useless and u cant use it until you have healed in full.
To heal in full when it comes to arms, legs, shoulders, hips for example, it takes 15 minutes out of combat and being in your faction's base or medical facility.
When shot in the chest / abdomen and you have an armor plate that stops the bullet, you get the wind knocked out. If that happens, you are dizzy and can't move for 15 minutes, unless someone comes up to you and uses a stimpack on you. Then you are back up quicker. 5 minutes to be precise. This is because applying a stimpack takes 5 minutes for a medic.
Medics
There can only be one medic on every 10 players.
For example: If RAS has 16 players, they can have 2 medics. If the DLC has 22 players in their faction, they can have 3.
Each medic can carry 2 Stimpacks. Each player can carry 1 first aid kit.
This means a Medic can carry 2 Stimpacks and 1 first aid kit. Normal players can carry 1 first aid kit.

In Game Trading and Currency
Currency exists. Freetown prints their own money that can be used in Freetown and some of the nearby villages and trading posts around the area. Not all villages and trading posts will be using the currency. This is because they lack a trading agreement with Freetown.
However, currency is scarce and most of it is in the hands of traders and the town's higher society. This means that most people are trading in goods. Electronics, food, drinks, ammunition, medical supplies, gasoline / diesel and other things that people need.
One commodity that is highly valued is books and manuals on how to build things like solar power, wind power, hydroelectric power, repairing cars and other vehicles.
Also old electronics that can be salvaged are highly valued.
Beside that, in the area of Freetown and the surrounding woods, there can be minerals as well as gemstones found.
They fall into the middle category of valuebals, and are sought after mainly by the high society in the town, but also the Esteemed doctor is looking for minerals, herbs etc.
